Facility User Roles

List of Facility User roles with descriptions & details about their access to Plan & Align pages.

Role Description General level of access to Plan & Align
1 System Admin Client Administrators are limited to their data and contracted products. Access to the client's division(s) and products. Not allowed to add/edit the organizational structure (e.g. units, etc.).
2 Facility Admin Same as System Admin, but limited to only designated facilities. Access to the client's division(s) and products. Not allowed to add/edit the organizational structure (e.g. units, etc.).
3 Executive Executives, such as CNO or VP of Operations. Access to designated org levels and products; for those org levels, designate if they have rights to Authorize department plans.
4 Department Director Department directors or managers. Access to designated departments (and related units), including all related Setup screens, and designated product(s).
5 Unit Manager Unit directors or managers. Access to designated unit(s), including all related Setup screens, and designated product(s).
6 Central Staffing Coordinator Coordinator of daily staffing for float pool(s) Access to designated float pools, unit groups, and units (such as a Resource Team unit), & designated Align features (Typically just Central Staffing)
7 House Supervisor Coordinator of daily staffing when there isn't a CSO, or it's after-hours (nights, weekends). Access to designated float pools, unit groups, and units (such as a Resource Team unit), & Align features (Typically Central Staffing, Weekly Schedule and Alerts)
8 Charge Nurse Responsible for staffing activities for current & next shift (must be on the schedule?). Access to designated units & Align features (typically just Unit Staffing)
9 Staff Scheduler Unit scheduler, responsible for using the scheduling system to make & maintain schedules. Access to designated units & designated features (typically Plan>Schedule, Align>Weekly Schedule, and Align>Schedule Tasks)
