Creating a Census grid

Once you have logged into Flexwise select plan from the menu to the left and then select staffing guide from the menu at the top.

To create a new staffing guide, first select the facility, then the unit, and then select add staffing guide in the center of the page.

Select Census Grid by clicking it under "Add Staffing Guide"

Fill in the form by clicking on the arrow buttons. Please note that you will be creating a separate census grid for each position group but will be able to select as many positions within that group.

Once you have completed the form select next.

Fill in the census grid for each row with at least the minimum staff you created. Please note that the census grid will not allow you to move forward unless all rows are filled in with at least the minimum of staff you created.

Once all staff has been added select the save button at the bottom of the page.

The census grid will be in draft mode until it is authorized or deleted.

While in draft mode you can select the “Display Patient Care Ratio” function and it will display that feature.
