Staffing Guide - Important Information

• You must choose a facility and unit prior to creating a new Staffing Guide.  
• A separate Staffing Guide must be created for each position group utilized by the department. 
• You will select the applicable planning method for each position group - Census Grid or Ratios & Activities.
• If you select Census Grid, you can add as many positions as you would like within that position group.
• If you select Ratios and Activities guide, you can add as many patient care activities as applicable within that position group.
