Central Staffing Overview

The objective of this feature is to guide the effective development of Central Staffing lines (aka Variable Staffing Plan or Daily Staffing Plan) for a given scheduling unit. The user will get an accurate and actionable picture of staffing allocation among all facilities and their respective units for the current and immediate future shifts. They will also be able to make swift changes based on fluctuating needs via its access to the Resource Team, and float pools for all positions. They will be able to take constant observer requests from units and fill them from an available pool and then communicate the changes to the affected units effectively. The target user will be clinical workforce planners within a Nursing Operations team. There may also be Nursing Departmental managers/directors as users.
